Rosier Nederland B.V. in Sas van Gent (NL) is a fertiliser manufacturer. The manufacturing company with over 100 employees specialises in the production of "customised" fertiliser. The products are sold through its own sales organisation to agricultural cooperatives and the art trade around the world. Rosier is part of the Yilfert holding company, belonging to the Yildirim Group.
We are looking for a full-time candidate for the position of:
Manager Supply Chain
The Function:
The role holder is a member of the Commercial team. She/he is responsible for developing and executing the Supply Chain strategy supporting the achievement of the Yilfert business strategy. She/he is overall responsible for the following departments/activities within Rosier: Customer Service, Logistics (outbound and inbound), Procurement (Raw Materials & Technical) as well as Business Processes.
Area of responsibility
· Develops the overall Supply Chain strategy as well as contributes to the delivery of the Rosier strategy.
· Develop and execute procurement strategies for all logistic sourcing activities at an optimal cost and service ratio.
· Develops, executes and continuously improves the order-to-delivery process.
· Direct and control the design and establishment of an efficient customer service desk and the revision and definition of customer service policies.
· Identifies and drives implementation of system enhancements and on-going upgrades in partnership with IT and implements “best practice” state of the art technology platforms.
· Accountable for the development and delivery of the Supply Chain asset strategy
· Ensures the safe and efficient operations of own warehouses.
People
· Responsible for the development and maintenance of an effective and well motivated team; and accountable for the development of a motivating and challenging climate for employees, building employee capability to enable increased performance
· Agree performance objectives and targets, which are consistent with those for Rosier and ensure performance is managed to achieve these objectives and targets.
· Strong ability to collaborate and build strategic relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders
Customer
· Assure that Supply Chain unit team establishes and manages effective customer relationships (internal and external) so that their needs are mutually understood, expectations managed and customer satisfaction achieved
· External: Customers, suppliers, logistic service providers (haulliers, warehouses, ports, etc.)
· Internal: Business Center, Material Handling, Production, Sales, LAT affiliates Eastern Europe
Education & experience
· Master degree in business administration, logistics or a relevant technical study.+ possibly an MBA/PhD
· Fluent in English and preferably in French and/or Dutch
· 15+ years relevant working experience
· Experience with SAP and other relevant logistic systems
· Experience in leading teams and having managed complex projects.
· Strong leader with the ability to influence and manage a diverse organization
