The logistics traineeship can be done at different branches. For example, you can choose the branch in Rieme or Desteldonk. These both belong to the Ghent cluster.
Job Description
As a Young Potential Logistics Trainee you go through various processes within the organization. In this way, they introduce you to all processes within a logistics environment. As a trainee you have the choice to stay within an operational aspect throughout your traineeship or you can also work in various supported departments. You can also choose to work for a period in the HR department, Customer Service department, Reporting department, etc.
A traineeship is always drawn up personally and takes about a year to a year and a half. The first year of the traineeship you will always work in a shift system (early or late shift). After the first year, this switches to normal daytime hours.
After completing the traineeship you are ready to take on more and more leadership roles and they also offer you enormous opportunities to grow within the organization. Together with you, we look at what your ambitions are and in which department you want to make a career. This way you can always use your talents in the best way.
The Successful Applicant
This is the profile of a Youth Potential Logistic trainee:
- You have completed a higher education and have just graduated. You have a Master or Bachelor degree (Commercial sciences, IT, Logistics management, …..);
- You are fascinated by logistics;
- You are ambitious and you have an urge to learn new things;
- You are a team player, but you can also work independently;
- You are flexible & you are willing to work (temporarily) in fixed shifts (early or late) during the trainee program;
- You speak fluent English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
